COCKPIT BEAUTY BAZAAR - SORE LIPS, ANGULAR CHEILITIS OR STOMATITIS (VASELINE)

COCKPIT BEAUTY BAZAAR
SORE LIPS, ANGULAR CHEILITIS OR STOMATITIS {PART 2}
(VASELINE)

Sometimes when your lips become painfully dry, it may lead to a not very nice looking red patches at the corner of the lips. And even if you apply a lip balm, it does not disappear at all and may even worsened. This condition has a name : an angular cheilitis or angular stomatitis.

Angular because it is at the corner of your mouth and cheilitis for the inflammation.
I can see lots of people with it and it urges me to go and let them know, but...for the obvious reason, I don't do it;)
It is terribly common and no, you cannot contaminate others people with it..., Yes, you can still kiss your beloved ...
It may comes from a variety of situation, but the occurring one is a deficiency in minerals and vitamins especially with people following a poor diet or strict vegan.
You have to adopt the following measure : do not use a lip balm ANYMORE, you will spread the inflammation even more through your baton.
On a daily basis, try to use this balm (see my Cockpit Bazaar about it HERE).

Then, at bedtime, use the Vaseline, pure petroleum jelly original : with clean hands, apply a dot at the corner of your mouth and it should do the trick.
If not, use the SUDOCREAM, yes, the cream used for babies' bottoms ;) This super cream has an antiseptic which will solve your dilemma. Use it sparingly at the corner of your mouth at bedtime as well.
Your cheilitis should normally be gone with this treatment...
HOWEVER, if it does not, you MUST have it checked out by your GP as it could be a deficiency in Iron or B vitamin or a fungal infection your Doctor must investigate.
You will see, in no time, you will be able to smile as if nothing ever happened...
