Before being a polo player, I used to ride a few times a week in Hyde Park.
Every Wednesday, around 11.30am something quite unusual happened at the Lady's Ride...
The Horse Guards were there ridding their magnificent black horses.
They were galloping as well.
It was a delight to see them, to see this procession galloping at the same rhythm...
A little bit unreal to face them as they were heavily harnessed.
A little bit unreal to be near them, as if I was in a spatio-temporal gap, back several centuries ago...
It was at this time that it became difficult...
As my horses where terribly scared of the particular sound the metal of their impressive caparison made...
